March 12, 2021 – New Mexico Game & Fish has released decontamination protocols for aquarium owners who have purchased a moss ball from any source within the last year. Click on the hyperlink above to view instructions for your moss balls, your aquarium water, your aquarium and its accessories.

Please do not flush moss ball or discard any water into a toilet, sink, bath tub, storm drain or any water sources like ponds, lakes or creeks.
