Most North Dakota communities have animal shelters that can help you find a home for your pet. Some shelters will accept pets while others may not. Check in your local community to find a shelter.
The Center for Avian Adoption, Rescue, and Education (CAARE) is an all-volunteer, North Dakota, 501(c)(3), non-profit, parrot shelter devoted to the welfare of companion parrots. If you have unwanted pet bird or parrot CAARE may be able to help you and can certainly provide advice.
